Found this link through Facebook... What idiots.. I honestly thought that it was going to end badly. Very lucky not to have a rotational!! Poor horse.

Sorry off topic warning...

I wouldn't canter mine on tarmac (my last share horse argued this point frequently) but the hunt goes flat out past work down the lanes. Aside from the fact that they are cantering and galloping on tarmac, it's round blind bends taking up the whole road. Always staggers me - I'm sure the hunt who used to go through our land never behaved like this?! I looked up the cantering and people seemed to have very differing views on whether it was okay or not though, many saying it was preferable to trotting?
