Idiots!!!

For the last three evenings, we have seen two horse riders go past our house, we don't often get riders here as we are on the very edge of a town. Now, this is around 8pm. The riders wear dark clothing and ride dark horses (one dark bay, one black). neither the horses nor the riders are wearing a single scrap of flourescent/reflective gear, infact, not even anything light coloured!
The roads here are windy, narrow and fast and full of blind spots.

One day, they may have an accident. When will riders learn??

Not that close. Most people who ride past our field do wear hiviz, but we are not normally up there at dusk. We suspect they come from Sandy Lane

I've recently moved here to the Somerset/Devon border and NOBODY around here wears hi viz. At all. Ever. It's real traditional huntin'/shootin' country and everyone wears quite traditional tweedy stuff to ride in. Hmmm good idea, it really blends in with the beech hedges and shady lanes, and we wouldn't want to scare the local wildlife would we?

I can see I;m going to be the odd one out in my trendy hi viz attire.....
