as the Jadey and Ladey post below re staffy, he is in a not so nice place at the moment and has an offer of a new home via Loopy
Louise, the Dog is at Newcastle near to me at present, and It is planned for me to collect him and transport him to Nottingham tomorrow where BrownMare could take him to Bambury (which gets him further to his destination) but we then need to get him from there to London with is another 3 and a half hours by my mapping:rolleyes: as
A, LL has flu and B, she does not get paid till Monday to get a train even the 3 and half hour journey from Bambary (which IMO is not a good idea to place a dog on a train) who has never been on one (with a crate) which I am giving LL to save her forking out for that aswell (she is doing a huge favour offering this dog a home)
I have tried Pet Taxi's and got no reply yet, as another option of transport from Bambury to London.

I cannot keep the dog here longer then Monday, and even if LL could get the train all the way here on Monday when she is paid) over 5 hours:eek: and then their is the Weather to take into consideration and the fact that if she gets stranded either on the way here or on the way back she is going to have a dog/child and crate with her.

So options are try and get him there tomorrow, via transport runs between a few people in his crate in a car (he is used to being in a crate, and 3 hours of the journey will be with me.
OR a transport run on monday, otherwise I may not beable to take the dog through fear I will end up with another perminant resident and I do not have the space as I have 10 dogs of my own with 2 extra japanese akita in to board from next friday which will be in the doggy room (where the staff would be if im out)

Any help/suggestions/ideas would be gratefully recieved.

I can go from Banbury to somewhere tomorrow morning or Monday? Cant do Sunday I'm afraid, and I would prefer not to go to London cos I am a country bumpkin and hate the big city :p but text me if you need me to fill in a gap (would take me around 1 1/2 hours to get to Banbury I reckon?)

Assuming you mean Banbury in north Oxfordshire when you say Bambury of course :p:D:D

Thanx C, I would not make it to Nottingham early:p im setting off at 9am:D and imnot going back again on Monday lol:D

But....but....I am seeing my MAN on Saturday evening/Sunday, it is far to early in our relationship to tell him that transporting a staffy is fun :D:D

Come back to me if you are stuck, and I will do just that though :) Poor bloody dog needs a break and a decent home from the sound of it :(

Cayla it only takes about an hour and a half to get to London from Banbury  :D and i could go a little further south if necessary or (if desperate) he could stay with me until Monday seeing as I have been with my OH long enough to have him trained to a basic level ;) although he would probably have to stay in a crate apart from walks depending on his behaviour. OH b*gger it, come to that I could take him straight to London but I'd rather not because it would involve giving OH VERY detailed instructions on sorting out the liveries

I am in Dorking so could meet somewhere to collect from Brownmare and have no problem in driving upto/around London if that is worrying. Also, I have a crate I use for my staffies in the back of the jeep so no problems there. Could do Monday too as I had booked off for a long weekend - weather permitting!

thats a good idea, see what BM says :)
Does anyone have LL's address?? I have no idea where in london she lives

How far North could you get Luci? Somewhere on the M40 would be good for me. I haven't driven in London for years but I will if necessary

How far up the M40 do you mean? I come up from the M25? I have no problem in driving in London although hope not through the congestion zone!

I can't help with the transport - but am happy to offer some money towards petrol for those doing it - or for the congestion zone.

I'm going to donate some Christmas food money to Cayla's charity later - let me know and I will add petrol money onto it.

Right my stress levels have calmed.....I think we may have this sorted and Brownmare and LL are speaking now, so we shall see, I need to book a train ticket for LL for tomorrow and imnot the best of organised people LL does not get paid so I can pay for it and she can give me it back on Monday but I may need someone a bit more organised to actually book her the right train when she rings me back, so may ask for assistance:o:D

Glad it all seems to be getting sorted :) Try using Q Jump for the train ticket, it really couldnt be simpler.... or better still, get A to do it for you

Hi Lucy, Brown mare is going to try to make it banbrey trains station so LL can get him on the train for a short journey as opposed to the 5 hour journey she would have had to make but she still has a crate to carry and a dog that pulls like hell:rolleyes:, are u able to do any of the journey from Banbury to London tomorrow afternoon or is that not possible?

Hi Cayla

Just spoken to Brownmare and going to meet her at Banbury at 3pm tomorrow can you give me a ring when you get this cheers hun xx

He also needs to end up there late afternoon, cos I think Brownmare will get to banbury about 3-4pm and then he needs to got to London from there which is an hour and a half but would save LL from getting him on the train with the crate.
