What gave H&H Admin grounds to ban her for posting what was clearly an opinion and nothing else. Yet they are allowing the Point 2 manufacturers to blatantly engage in "advertising" which is CLEARLY against all forum rules. Yet they continued through the thread to "advertise" their product and the claims of the benefits to wearers of the product.

You got that right cefyl and it seems to me that it is a bit of a coincidence that point two rejoined the debate at exactly the same time as lucretia was banned, perhaps she was right in her speculations about advertising being pulled because i cannot see why else this magazine would get in such a stew over this.

On another forum sally, she says Admin banned her for breaking rules 4.1,4.3,4.4 and 6.1. But having read the thread and the terms and conditions i cannot see how that is. Admins response to her on the thread was worse IMHO.

i usually only lurk on here, but i feel the need to register and post now because it seems really bad to me that this person has been banned for no real reason. Her posts were really good and seemed well informed and she helps people out in other parts of the forum. The information about air jackets has been invaluable to me, as i assumed before this they were used on their own (like bikers do) and the only reason I had not bought one was the cost.
Very very odd and very very sad. As others have sad it is a sad day for this forum if questions cannot be asked and answered.

I always thought the dumbing down of this forum was accidental but now it appears it is a deliberate policy by ' the management' to reduce this to the same level as H&H magazine aka Hello with Horses in as much as anybody who asks difficult questions or demonstrates a shred of intelligence will be asked to leave the building.
If I wanted to be on a pink pony petting forum I wouldn't be here - there was a time when I think H&H and this forum set the standard that others emulated. But not any more.

Not been involved with the point2 discussions at all but agree that HHO is really being dumbed down at the moment. You have only to look at their stance on anything to do with F***** rescue. Very sad, seems it is no longer a place where things can be discussed freely

Unfortunately, I think you have our increasingly litigious society to blame. Say something about a person or product and you just as likely to be sued. I believe past postings on this forum have cost H&H serious money, an experience they clearly do not want to repeat.
In this case, I think they have banned a valuable and experienced member who tells it how it is.

Nor I. But I have read the threads with real interest. Much knowledgeable input from many of our competive riders, and wonderful demonstration of debate and argument.

I don't think it merited a ban to be honest and I thought what PointTwo had to say about Kerilli was rather more offensive and defamatory since it basically accused her of lying about the rep at Blenheim...

As lighthearted and ridiculous as I usually act I am completely blown away (especially in CR) by the knowledge and intelligence of some of our users. I for one am sad to see Lucreita gone, her input will be missed.
