As per my earlier post had vet out for Tom at about 4.30 this afternoon re the odoemas he has and him not eating (obv not getting his meds either) He took blood test to check his kidneys and liver....

He has been lying down and getting up all day today as he obv in slightly more pain as not taking his meds.. he was down when the vet got here at 4.30 we half heartedly asked him to get up then left him down and he got jabbed with bute while he was down.. we gave him a drink and he drank that fine.

but he is still down now..... getting relly scared now... not pushing him to get up as i know it is good for him to be down but he should be up by now...

Thank you all of you he was still down at 9.30 but we thought sod it he has to eat so we have put a double handful of haylage in for him to munch which he has munched slowly.... I know it is far from ideal but it was soaked for 12 hours and he has to eat something to give him the energy to get up....

Dingle12 thank you Tom has laminitis and has been fighting so hard for the last month. He is 18.3 weighing 900kgs at fighting weight so the worst type of horse ever to get it (not that there is a good type but you know what I mean)...

I will post tomoz as soon as I can on how he is...
