Hi all
Bit of an odd question, I'm looking for horses to bring on for driving trials and am looking mainly in Ireland at the moment. The type I'm interested in are 3-4, under £2000 ideally, unbroken or started under saddle, 15-16 hands and short coupled with good conformation, a good shoulder and a very sensible head. Does anyone know of any brokers/studs to speak to at all? Thank you!

Sort of ID or hunter types do you mean? Or big cobs with feather, the sort we used to call vanners? We used to use mainly ID x hunters for FEI driving, but they didn't really have the uniformity or the movement of the gelderlanders etc. There is a stud in Cork- Cashelane Stud- that specialises in cobs.

Something very like my boy- he's a LRG/LW hunter stamp, I'm not looking for world beaters, rather sane nice types that can go round a driving trial at Club and small scale National level, up to intermediate class with the scope to be trained on a little more later on, that can also pop to a local show/dressage/SJ up to a meter or so? A proper allrounder! Mines out of a TB X Connie mare, by a Trotter X Hanoverian stallion. I'd happily have a Connie X ID or TB!

If you are actually in Ireland looking, I suppose keep an eye on DoneDeal and see what comes up on there, theres always quite a few con and con x on there.
