And you could have training with ANYONE (but they MUST take pupils) who would you choose and why?

I would like to go to the Edgars or Tim Stockdale (I would have said Nick Skelton but he isnt a trainer)

I would like some flatwork lessons with Richard Davison.

Well I would have to say Olli Townend for all types of training

Karen Dixon also she is such a fantastic rider.

I would also like to have dressage lessons with Carl Hester.

Hmmmm.....money isn't the problem...time is ! I used to train with Rob Hoekstra, and I had a refresher with him last december. If I could afford it, i'd employ him full time to train me now ! He might not be the most glamorous, but he got the very best out of me....and I soooo wish he was around more now to train me again

Wouldn't be able to choose between flat and jumping training (I need so much work in each!). For flat it would have to be Richard davidson, for Jumping........I haven't a clue! Somebody good looking and male would be nice though!

Franke sloothaak must do something right as his daughter is a very good rider, went to school with her and have respect for him as he doesn't want to push her into bcoming top international rider. she is very good at fashion!
Not karen dixon, she may beable to ride but is not a good teacher.
think it would be Tim Stockdale, but not sure for pure dressage

Nick does teach I know he does but not sure how good as a teacher he is! (i know someone that spends a lot of each summer with him!)

personally I agree Rob Hoekstra is brilliant, learnt a very large amount simply watching him teach. Of the people who have taught me, Jane Bartle Wilson I thought was very good although admittedly very blunt, I also like Pammy Hutton. I find it hard to say who i would want to be a single person to teach me who i haven't experienced the teaching methods of before either by word of mouth etc although I personally like to absorb as many view points as possible. Was though very disappointed when last years clinic with Meredith Micheals Beerbaum fell through as think that would have been a real eye opener so for that reason would still like to have a lesson from her. Others are Tim Stockdale as I think he would have a similar approach to Jane but over fences, Rob Smith's brother (steven?! mind escapes me!) as his pupils can't seem to do any wrong recently!!

Ruth Oh whats her name - The one who trains all the juniors! Had a course walk with Lucinda Green and thought she was good but don't know if she trains. Chris Bartle maybe. I just wish I could afford regular lessons!

I'd love to have flatwork training with Ulla Salzgaber (I think she takes pupils...). I saw her at the BD Nat. Convention the year before last and thought she was excellent

Dickie Waygood and anybody else who'd have me!!!!!Would need a horse first!lol!
Being a tightwad too I would just pay you to train me Lou....You can sit pretty well on a horse as can many of the members here so that 'll do me for now....I will glean everybodies expertise then best you all in competition, then take over the world whoooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (cackle)
You have seen me on a Shettie....now, who wants lessons with me?
I'll do it for £1.50 and a packet of walkers.

FMM to improve our showing techniques (dont think she is a trainer, but if)

Chris Bartle for dressage

Lucinda for cross country

SJ - tim sctockdale - because i know he wouldnt BS me, he would push me to be better not namby pamby around.
dressage (if i did it!) carl hester, after watching him teach my friend in a clinic i think he is fab, doesnt talk down to people and doesnt be snooty if your not a pro.
XC lucinda green. because her ethic of dont worry how it looks just jump and stay on, i.e. sacrifice style if it means going better XC, has helped me alot

Carl Hester for dressage, just to see what he could get out of us, but would also love a lesson with him on a dressage schoolmaster.
Lucinda Green for cross country, having seen a couple of her demos I really like her teaching style and straight talking!

I'm past trainable age, but would love to send daughter to Ruth McMullen. Also for her to have more regular lessons with Nick Turner than she already has. Wouldn't mind having Lucinda Green here full time, she could exercise for me too!

Dressage would be Tracey Robinson or perhaps Char Lassiter (she's had a couple of lessons with her that were effective)

Id love to have lessons with Anky......never going to happen tho!

But near me it would have to be Carl Hester and Pammy Hutton. Im hopefully going to take Archie for a lesson with Pammy at the beginning of next year (its on my xmas list!!)
