to jump - Milton but, I was lucky enough to visit John's yard many years ago when i went to try a potential new horse (owned by a friend of his) and his groom at the time told us how bad Milton was to hack out (rearing etc) so I am not sure he'd be for me! Lol

I would quite like to have Denman - reckon he'd be a good allrounder but I also really like/liked geoff lucketts Marlene (what has happened to her!!)

For showjumping it would have to be Russel, gorgeous grey that he is.

For dressage Balagur, I absolutely love him, such a beautiful and talented horse.

For eventing Supreme Rock, he's a superstar.

If I had to pick just one though it would be Belagur every time.

Though I wouldn't swap any of my raggedy lot for all the world beaters

I'm going to add another one - Opium. Not sure if there's roman numerals after his name and I can't even remember which country he is ridden for but I love his face and his bucking when jumping but (most of the time) he jumps so cleanly and with hardly any effort.

Someone know owned the pony that played 'merrylegs' in one of the Black beauty films, it was a little sod if i remember corecttely.
