Poor thing, I don't fancy her chances. It would be a big risk to take her on knowing there's going to be a huge vet bill and no guarantee of her ever returning to work.

It's certainly can be a long process, we have a pony with a stiffle injury, but sadly he will never be 100%, but he is so much better the vet is happy for him to do light hacking so he is currently out on loan as companion/light hack
