My girl would have been 11 today if she was still here. I lost her 6 months ago to the day on November 21st last year. I miss her more with every passing day and find it hard to come to terms with the fact that i should have been so excited by now with only 4 weeks to go before foaling. Life can be so incredibly cruel at times. Hope you are resting peacefully sweetheart xx

You poor pet, I know exactly how you feel. I lost my boy on 28th november, it really is heartbreaking. Some people laugh at "us" people that grieve for an animal, but my cooper was my friend. He listened to me and all my silly problems, and used to "hug" me. I had to make the decision to put him to sleep, which broke my heart, but he would have suffered so much if i had left him there. I'm crying typing this, I'll never again have a horse that I'll love as much as Cooper. I dont really know what to say to you, only that I am better than i was, I dont cry as much as I did. Do you have other horses? Not that they make up for it, but at least they occupy me. Really hope you start feeling a little better soon.
