...would you sell?

I've come to the conclusion today that no matter how much I was offered for Danny (sensible prices I mean, not £500,000 or anything like that!) I wouldn't sell him!

If someone offered you a good price would you sell or at what price would you definitely sell?

Stupidly,,,,,my boy is priceless.
I could not sell him.
I could loan him to a very good friend but I could never sell him.

The fact that he is probably only actually worth £500 has nothing to do with it!! hahahaa

Not just saying this...(and there's no way someone else would pay large sum of money for mine - although he is actually the most gorgeous neddie ever!) but i would never ever sell him- EVER! Probably also to do with the fact that i've had him for 13yrs!

He's another child to me......

For Missy, if somebody offered me the right price I would part with her in a heart beat. Storm on the other hand will be with me for life (sadly for her

), no amount of money could buy her.

Oshka?Right now? No, I have just spent a lot of love on that horse getting him though his op, and I want to be there when it all comes right. I know how loving he can be, but how hard he finds it to trust, so I want to be the one that he gives in to.

Bertha? If you offered me the world I wouldnt swap her, and that is the truth. Hurk, yes, I would without thinking about it.

Nope, never. She is my first horse and will always have a home with me for life and no amount of money in the world would change that! If she did by some miracle prove to be amazingly talented then I'd consider letting someone else have the ride on her provided I still got to enjoy her too but I would never, ever sell her.

After her trying to buck me off today - you wouldn't have to offer me very much to take her off my hands

Seriously though, if a very good home that would get her out and competing and do more with her than I can and love her then yes I would sell her. But I would be very picky and the price would have to be very good!

Never Never not any of them, no matter how much money I was offered. I know some people swap and sell all the time, but to me it would be like selling my best friend!

I'd sell Moon for a decent price for sure, though I expect give it another 6 months and I wouldnt!
Boss is to be mine for life, as much as I can stand him being away from me, I cant stand the thought of him not being 'mine' and not being able to go and hug him when I need to!!

Nahhhh, you can't buy that feeling
grin.gif
You know, when you love someone so much you want to bite them?! (what do you mean that's only me???

Mine are homebreds so very difficult to part with - we actually bred them in mind with having a "crop" to sell... 11 years down the line; they are going no where.

Cannot even sell the grumpy one as she is our "first born"!

On saying that if someone offered me £500,000 I might consider it, after all they could keep them in 5* conditions!

Lottie- No way she is a horse in a life time
Flo- No way she is also a horse in a life time
Bramble- Again no way she was my first pony, and first pony i broke into harness, no way!
Teazle- Again no way shes just too special (plus she and Bramble are carrying foals by Goshka Ringo!)
Dollar- love him to bits, but he is for sale.... well i have to sell something, lol!

I wouldn't sell my 4 mares for all the money in the world i love them that much!

Only if they were going to give either of my girls something I couldn't. I've been toying with the idea of selling Finn cos she adores to go out jumping, and I haven't been out as much as she'd like this summer. Break my heart if I do, but seeing her face when she gets on the lorry when she goes out makes me realise how much she loves it -- also they way she leaps on the lorry as soon as the ramp goes down. Price has nothing to do with it.

You know you can come up whenever WHENEVER you want and smother him in love and kidnap him back if you want to do so

He is to you what Cercs is to me - horse of a lifetime, never to be replicated

As for me, apart from Cercs, sod it, everything is for sale at the right price!

was offered double what I paid for him in July.....(bought him in April) but no, took me so long to bloody find him and at 5 I reckon he's my long term partner so not a chance!!!

I bought my horse nearly 4 years ago and in her first season of me competing her, I got offered well over double what I paid for her, (quite a substantial amount) but we had already clicked and that was that.

I would never ever sell Cloud or Ezzy but all the others? Yes of course I would if someone offered me 4 or 5 times what any one of them are worth.....that would pay for another arena......or an extension on our house.......or a swimming pool.

I wouldn't like to sell Oscar (and I have been offered 4 times what I paid for him) because I am not ready to part with him - I think he is my special horse - but then who knows what I will think in a few years.

If I sold the lot of them (apart from Cloud and Ezzy) I could buy another house!

I agree! The right amount of money would spark the initial interest, but the above would then be paramount!! When I say the right amount of money - £9,000,000 should do it - after all that was the WRP paid for a broodmare......

Edited to say - Oooooo no that was $9,000,000 - so £9,000,000 would rightly be more - after all "Coz She's Worth It"
