We thought he was at least 1/2 ID until his breeder tracked us down and put us straight. We talked about his Irish @r$£ for years!
He's a cross of 3 different breeds.

Yes! 5/8 TB 1/4 Sec D and 1/8 Shire. Dad was TB and Mum was the result of next door’s Shire x TB colt getting into a section D mare! Mum was 15.1 and dad 16hh so the shire height gene must have skipped a generation. He was an attempt at a show cob but it didn’t quite work, luckily for us!
