Id make my mare co-ordinated! That would be really nice. But wouldnt change her personality or her character or her looks in away way at all!!

Id make my boy sane and sensible. Give him a few more inchs of bone, and make him brave. But wouldnt change his willingness to please or his jump in anyway. hes such an affectionate sod that it makes me feel so guilty that he has to go!!!

Just wondered if anyone has a "perfect" horse? Does it exist?!:)

The only thing I would change about my mare is that she would be braver in traffic! My daughter's mare would be perfect if she didn't spook at random stuff like dried leaves on the ground, grass clippings, grass changing colour! I would also like it if she could cope being left on her own without getting completely stressed!

I do/did, but she had to be retired at age 8 :(

So what I'd change about her is to have her sound. Other than that, she is perfection.

Its always the good ones that get broken. Exactly the same with my mare :( Retired at 6 :( Though thankfully these past few months shes been showing some improvement :) i just hope and pray that shell come right. Shes always got a home with me and ill wait for years if i have to!

Whats wrong with your mare???

I'd make mine a hand smaller:o 17hh is not so easy to get on anymore lol it's ok at the yard where i have a step but i can't get off and on out hacking anymore:o

Id love it if my horse would stop bolting and bucking when i lose a stirrup!! My back is sooooo sore after an incident today!!! Ouch!

I'd make mine about 10 years younger! He's 20 now and he's the best horse I've ever had - my once in a lifetime horse!

I'd change the rider - ME!!!!
I would like to go back to the beginning when i first got my horse but i would like to keep all the experience i have gained since i got her. I wonder where we would have ended up if i'd have had all the experience and ambition i have now at the start of our journey!!!!

I'd make my horse 10 years younger too - as he is the perfect horse. He is now just a happy hacker due to an injury and the fact he is now 18, but I'd love to be able to rewind a year and do one more jumping derby with him or a little dressage test (But that aside - after his recovery from a serious injury, I am just ridiculously happy to still have him)

I wouldn't change my pony's funny, fizzy, stressy personality. I'd perhaps just make him a bit less spooky when we are hacking.

I'd make my TB 10 years younger and get rid of his Navicular/make him sound :(

The stroppy moody Section A I would like to change her attitude towards people she doesn't know so I could find her a loan home (currently sat doing nothing in the field due to being stroppy and moody when she goes out on loan :( ).

And I guess I'd make the 3 year old a year or so older and at least a hand bigger.

Definitely this except I'd want mine to be 4yo again. He is 20 too and I've had him since he was 4. It actually makes me pretty sad when i think about how old he is now but i have to think of all the thinsg I/we have done and achieved and how lucky I am I still have him now and he is still ridden and we still compete and he is going great guns really. The problem is I cannot imagine having to retire him. That will be hard.

I have 2 perfect horses....literally the only thing I'd change about them is to make them younger and rid them of their arthritic (for one) and stiff (for the other) joints so we could enjoy another lifetime together....I dread the day I ever have to say goodbye and I really hope it's a long long loooooong way off!

I would just make my boy's feet a bit more robust. They are crappy, dish-shaped TB feet, soft and cumbly, or brittle depending on the weather. My farrier does a great job, but I'd like to make a it just a little bit easier for him!

I would not change him otherwise--his quirks, his grumpiness, his little foibles are all what make him unique.

I've had one of my boys since he had just turned 4 and he's nearing 18 now....I re-backed him and started him from scratch again as he'd had a hellish start after being sold on from his lovely breeders. He's never ever put a foot wrong in the time I've had him, he's a dream and I don't know how I'd ever live without him.

My other boy is my once in a lifetime ride (although they're both my soul mates.....I literally couldn't be without them), I've only had him 2 years and he's now 21....no-one has told him that though :-p

My gelding I'd make an easy loader - !!!!!! - otherwise he's perfect. My little mare I'd make not - so - little, two more inches would be great. Other than that she too is perfect. But you know what - I wouldn't be without either of them, even with their little faults.

yes, I would wind him back 10 years, and not waste his prime :(

apart from that, I love everything about him, even his little quirks

The only thing I would change about my 22yr old would be to make him younger. It terrifies me that we have so little time left together.
I would make my other horse a bit more responsive. We have been working on it loads with his schooling but he has only marginally improved and it would make both of our lives more enjoyable. Hopefully he will keep improving.

dont feel like that my oldie was 32 when he passed away. xx

No nothing he really is perfect. never does anything wrong and not in the slightest spooky :D

Wouldn't mind if when I next ride he has suddenly been schooled to advanced medium tho :)
