If you could change your horse in any way, would you?!

I'd make mine a cheerful, affectionate animal who adored kittens, loved to be groomed, never dicked around whilst I got on, all with the dressage ability of Totilas or Alf and the jumping ability of Peppermill or Hickstead, with the braveness of Opposition Buzz or Lenamore but the laid-back-ness of a nice old chilled Clydesdale. Also he'd be bay.

I truly love him really, he is fantastic :D

More seriously, if I were to change anything about him it would be his feet... they're a bit of a disaster though they are improved since I bought him. :)

I'd make my mare less accident prone, and stop her rearing habit

My cob is really my "horse (well pony :p) of a lifetime" so I wouldn't change him at all :o

I'd remove his 'panic button'. He is my dream horse but as soon as he spots something different he doesn't like it's like his adrenaline boils over and he can't control himself. I would love to be able to hack him out without worrying about if he is going to lose the plot.

To give mine super strength tendons and fix her torn one ! also to get rid of the huge bursitis on her poll (well the vet could drain it but scared of infection)

2nd mare I would take 20 years off her life so she would be with me for longer :)

3rd gelding i would make him less sharp and more layed back that way could save on the magic calmer

1st mare wind the clock mare to have her back in my life :(

Harvey - pretty perfect, but currently got an allergy affecting his breathing, so would love to change that for the better.

Nemo - Would love to wave a magic wand and sort his problems.
I would cure his badly locking stifles, heal his wound from sarcoid removal treatment oh and make him grow a bit more, especially in length! Having said that, these things (apart from height) will hopefully be resolved soon. Otherwise I wouldn't change him as he has a gorgeous nature and willing, gentle personality to match his beautiful looks :)

More confidence! To settle into his schooling rather then battle with me. Make him 16.2hh rather then 15.3hh :) ... Umm that's all!

If I had one wish it would be to get rid of the COPD as it is a constant worry trying to keep him comfortable.

If I'm allowed more wishes, he'd be 10 years younger, braver and a little more forward going. Oh and self cleaning feathers would be a bonus! But would I swap him? No! He has the most wonderful nature and I love him to bits.

My boys is 'perfect for me' the 1 and only thing I'd change (and I'm hoping will improve) is the loading issue as he's not even frightened which I could understand he's just a numbnuts and likes to see me drag him in sweating- he loves getting out and about and is a lamb when in and traveling - but unfortunately it kind of spoils outings at the moment.

But everything else I love xxx

If I could change one thing I would make my dun pone 16.2hh. Then I could NEVER outgrow him...although he's Connie anyway so he'll carry me quite happily. I would even rather make him bigger than get rid of his rearing :o (Also I would have had him as a baby...then he wouldn't have had to go through so many horrible things :( )

If I could change Tont, I would make him two hands bigger, and a bit easier to ride :) At the moment, if you aren't doing what he wants, he'll do anything such as trying to bolt, refusing to move and rearing

Nicole :)

Three things...

1. I would like him to be a hand smaller, only so that I might actually be able to ride him properly and not look like a Thelwell child on a big fat pony! ;)

2. Wish he was a few years younger. I got him when he was 13 and I just wish I'd had him when he was about 8 (though whether I'd have been able to ride him then is a different matter!).

3. I'd get rid of his arthritis :(

I would only change the bad things that have happened to him - him getting sarcoids as he's such a sweetie and doesn't deserve all the hassle and poking and prodding.

Other than that not a thing :D

I'd genetically engineer her to be immune to sunburn and fly bites, so I wouldn't have to dress her up like a member of the Klu Klux Klan to put her out in the field! Other than that, there is nothing I'd change about her... there's a lot I'd change about myself though, like making myself much braver and a better rider so I could really enjoy her to her full potential - she is much too good for me really. I'm working on that though!

The only thing I would change about my old gelding is to rewind time and have him back with me. :( I always knew I'd have him until the day he died, but it happened about 20 years too soon.

Apart from his hormones of course which makes him a complete g*t with other horses and his napping tendencies  I wouldn’t change him, he’s a big happy soft dope at times where butter wouldn’t melt, then he has this other side to him, arrogant, clever, cocky cheeky side but he ooozes character that's for sure and he is quite devilishly handsome but I would say that :D

I’ll admit I’d of liked him to of have matured a little bigger and into a more lighter and athletic build of a horse (for what I was originally looking for) but he what he is and I love him to bits.

The only thing that I would change would be his age. He's 31 now and would love to turn the clock back to when he was around 6...apart from that I love everything about him :)
