Damn you...I was winding down for the night, now you've got me thinking!
hmmm...It would either be something involving wide open spaces, maybe a cattle drive or something...or it would be something with classical schooled horses, so maybe some dressage with Lipizzaners (sp?)
I'd go drag hunting on a really safe horse that jumps anything.
I'd then somehow get my horse in a box / trailer (he won't travel!) and take him to a beautiful beach for a lovely long ride ... then I'd take my pony for some all day intensive tuition in dressage and XC.
Soulfull, my heart goes out to you, as a Mum who has also lost a daughter.
I am very lucky to be able to hack out with my youngest daughter, but riding is agony because of my HMS, so I would LOVE to have a pain free hack with her, where I can scamper about, jump logs and just have fun, instead of having to take everything slowly.
Ride Totilas, spend a day with Paul Nicolls at his racing yard, riding Kauto Star, Master Minded and Denman. Spend a day with Frankie Dettori, go and visit the Maktoums place in Dubai. Day riding the Andalusians at the Spanish riding School>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. I could go on and on!

I would do anything to be able to go for a lovely day long hack with my daughter. But as she died 8yrs ago at 15 sadly that will never happen

Soulfull.....I am so sorry.
I rode with my daughter for the first time last year on her old pony....she was only 6 at the time and we had a canter on the cornfields......I will remember it forever. I cant wait until she can manage to do it again on her big pony.
Otherwise.....I would get some nerves and go Xc training on a horse that was guaranteed not to swerve out at last minute
