If you could have any breed of horse, what would it be?

If money were no object and you could have any horse breed you wanted, what breed would you choose?

I would choose an Azteca.

well I had better stay faithful and say an appaloosa and quarter horse but if money were no object I would go for a Lusitano/andausian/highland pony/Paso Fino or a mustang....as well as a welsh a for driving

my perfect horse would be a 15/16 TB with just a dash of Irish in it. i'd have a Lusitano or Andalusian for fun as well, and i've always fancied an Akhal-Teke... i wonder if they'd event?

I have loved all my horses - a Dales, a Dutch Warmblood and a Welsh Sec D x Warmblood but my favourite pony so far is my current Highland girl. I think that there are some wonderful looking horses out there but, for me, the Highland seems to have everything I need temprament, looks and talent wise. I think my Warmbloods made me look like a better rider than I look on my Highland because they both had big, extravagant paces but I actually feel happier than I have ever felt now I have my little pony that I can hop on and off with ease!

This used to be my friends horse, then she sold him the USA. He is a pure bred Akhal-Teke

I want what I am hoping to convince my OH to let me breed from his mare!! 1/8 TB, 3/8 ID and 1/2 arab!! Failing that I'll have to buy one sonehow, basically want something with a good lump of arab blood (polish preferably, crabbett second choice) then a bit of something else to get a little bit more height and maybe slightly more scope - I know you do get arabs big and that jump - mine is happy over 1m, but one day I'd like to SJ a bit bigger than that and mine, like most I imagine, struggles with the striding any bigger than discovery - short legs you see!
