A friend of mine and I met up for a long needed chat and coffee today and we were dicussing our new horses and how fortuntae we had been with our choices. She then asked me if I could make ONE AND ONLY ONE change to my horse would I and if so what would it be?

I decided it would be to eradicate her intermitent crib biting as in other ways shes prety much perfect really. She said she would change her horses poor hooves as they dont hold shoes on well.

So I pass on the same Q to you all....

My 18yo TB, I'd make 10 years younger so I could have the same fun with her all over again.
My 3yo, I'd make her colic surgery scar disappear...
My 2yo...wouldn't change anything.

All mine are perfect...wouldn't change a thing...

I really wouldn’t change anything as Bodes is perfect, but if I had to I would make Bodey 6 instead of 4, so I could go out and do more shows and jump higher jumps. But I just need to be patient as our time will come.

Willow I'd leave the way she is - I could say I'd change the fact she had early arthritus but then I wouldn't have Lacey...

As for Lacey, I'd had a hand on because being 14.2/3hh and me being 16 in March, next year is my last year in Juniors and she isn't ready yet, but she has THE most amazing jump on her. If she was bigger she'd manage the striding for seniors. But then again, we'll give it a shot, she might manage lower levels, otherwise we'll just do unaffiliated.

Bea- would make her less spooky, thankfully her spookiness doesn't extend to scarey fillers etc just a piece of grass in the wrong place, plastic bags, stationary tractors etc.
Josh - Only had him 6 weeks so not to sure at the min, possibly make his canter better but that is something that will come with time.

Pip-To stop boofing people with his head.
Ginga-Stop biting when you tack up.
Ajay- Stop biting on the leid rein
Teddy-Be easier to catch.
Bobbie-Easier to put wieght one
Brook- Less greedy
Freddie-To stop weaving
Richard- To be more mature
Rory-nothing!!

For my new mare Misty I would change the fact that she may be pregnant with a mule

For Chester I would change that he can be very agressive to other horses in an OTT way.

For tex I would make him a bit smarter and have him be built like his brother Chester

For Fancy the pony I would change nothing

I could say I would make him ten years younger (he is 14) but then he may not be the safe reliable soul he has proven to be for my kids so far

if i could change one thing it would be her age, i would love seren to be 10yrs younger, she will be 18 next year and she is such a damn good horse, but she is getting older, she is just a darling and i love her to peices

Jim I would make 20 years younger - and enjoy hunting him...his favourite!
Kangaroo I would make bolder as she is so intelligent and willing to please but a bit of a coward (bay rather than white would make my like easier!)

Would love for her to be less aggressive and possessive over food..also it's trivial but would much prefer it if her mane didn't look like a bog brush!

If I could change one thing, it would to make him less spooky!
At the moment he spooks at his own shadow, blade of grass, paper on side of road, big rocks, gravel bins, and drains!
And anything else he can see at the moment!
My friends pony is only 5 years old and wonders what the hell my horse is scared of all the time, and sets him off!

Trixie - Only one thing. I can't make her 20 years younger and 5 hands bigger, so I could ride her again like i did when i was a kid!
Ok... i'd give her a new set of teeth.

Shadow - Take away her arthritis.

Boo - As above, take away arthritis, or just give her 4 new legs and feet.

Joey - Take away his sweet itch.

Rocco - Take away his crib biting.

My lad is great in everything he does. He loves schooling on the flat, jump training & jumping at shows. Only thing I would change is he's terrified of the clippers & no amount of desensitising seems to work with him. As this is the only thing I'm not too worried.

i would like mine to just be nice to other horses! we had 2 new liveries move onto the yard today, they are either side of her and she just doesnt know which one to fight with first.she was in a foul mood when i left her this evening and the face pulling was of the disappearing ears type.trying to rug her was an experience to say the least!

For Lude's to be cleaner in the stable - poo in one place in his stable, not all over the place and then to churn it all up so in the morning there's no 'whole' poos left like he does now!!

Fudge - I'd make more confident, so he was happier hacking alone and didn't spook when ridden with the floodlights on.

Lady - I'd make 6 inches bigger as at 13.2hh she's just to small for me to ride at the moment.
