If you could ride any horse past or present which would it be??

My beautiful mare... thats the only one, I wouldnt say no to pickles my old pony or cloud the pocket rocket super jumper I used to ride... but one horse... Ebony, would give anything to ride her again. I know we are talking famous horses, but for me... Id rather ride her. :D

I would have to say my beautiful mare Kim, who passed away nearly two years ago. How much I would give to have another ride...will have to wait till rainbow bridge.

Fuego, though I wouldn't be able to ride him! I think I prefer watching the good partnerships rather than wishing I was riding a horse of that standard.

Realistically, I'd love to sit on my instructor's Luso stallion again - I love the feeling he gives :)

I loved National Velvet - so a Grand National winning horse - Neptune Collenges would have been good.......A horse who knew his job, and had speed at the finish - sadly I am not rider enough to ride any top class horses, but I have enjoyed my own (small) moments of glory over the years geting horses into rosettes at a number of low level disciplines, and getting first in an unaffilliated dressage class, when for some reason unbeknown to me, my horse was wonderful - getting it on the bit for the first time ever and feeling for the first and only time that we were in tune and had a silken thread from hand to mouth was terrific - it was a one off, but amazingly good!

Midnight - A 15 year old Shire x - 14.3 hands and the most comfortable/armchair ride I've ever had. She was a part loan some time ago and i've ever ridden such a beautifully balanced/comfortable horse since.

I purchased my own after a short loan but still wish I could have brought her - she was wonderful and soo willing - can't blame her owner for not wishing to part with her though ;)

Present : Fuego
Past : My childhood NF pony Rocky
Historical: Bucephalus who fired my imagination many years ago when writing
about him in a school project.

patrick!
a farmer let me ride him whenever i wanted as a young lass, He was the first horse i ever knew and i was too stupid to realise how amazing he was,
he was a grey 16 h irish hunter type with absolutely no vices and really was totally bomb proof,
Our family had no money, i would love to back in time and cossett him the way i do my own horse now.
