I've recently recived a pay rise :)
Which will be backdated
I've decided to buy something lovely for my horse/ me
I need ideas of something to get

I've just bought all new tack so that's out and have just ordered a matchy set from harrys horse before I knew about pay rise :)

All suggestions welcome ESP pics lol

Lucky you!!!

Oooo I'd have a real sheepskin numnah (I only have a fakey one). Also for me would be a nice high quality winter coat. I love the new Joules 3 in 1 coat, it's about £180 but looks fab.

Enjoy and let us know what you buy! :)

If I could do pics of post stuff lol
I have bought harrys horse yellow range
2x saddle cloths boots and overrated h boots and schooling whip and socks for me

Have plenty of rugs
Think maybe like something for me like a nice cost ?
Jods but something really nice

Keep them coming lol ;)
Ideas are great x

I'd put it into savings, as high interest as possible, and establish a trust fund for their care should I be unable to look after them myself.

It's not a lot of money - around £400/500
But have paid for my haylage for next 7 months and just thought I'd be nice to buy something u wouldn't normally treat urself too :)

Itl b a bit of an early birthday presseie to me too :)

Ooh, what a fab idea! I would buy a close contact jumping saddle for my appy girl as her style is a bit idiosyncratic and not always easy to sit to. For my big boy I would get a lovely doeskin seat side saddle and habit etc for me with lots of lessons as I think it looks amazing.

Anything?! In that case I'll have whatever is best for my unsure traveller to be happy in, whether that's a trailer or lorry.

As it's about £500 though I think I'd just bank it, as my private account seems to be directly linked to the vet and farrier! :-)

If I was forced to spend it, then an Ideal Grandee saddle exactly as I already have but in brown, or a dressage version please!

I'd buy him his very own super duper horsebox so we could go out exploring. If money was really no object we've also joked we wud get him cloned, so then he could have his very own mini-me!

I have lesson regularly with my instructor
She's great :)
I'll maybe treat myself to an extra one for next few months :)
I don't think the £500 would stretch to a trailer lol
But it's top of list as I'm going to do my trailer test :)

I like the sound of photo shoot for my boy :)
I'll look into that
So far I've bought the gloocker range in black and gold
Saddle cloth tendon and fetloc boots and fleece rug :)
I have owned him a year next week so that's his presseie lol

I'm eyeing up a Barbour coat :)
Any recommendations for really nice boots ?
I usually wear yogi or Dublin as legs are generous width ways but quite like ariat x

I am about to order a pair of celeris made to measure riding boots.

I could also do with some more jump wings and fillers and some more poles.

Or I'd do a few intensive weeks with my trainer

We've just treated our horse to an Equilibrium massage pad - thought he deserved it as he's been so brilliant lately (plus they were on offer!)

Show rug matching travel boots
A new taxi for them lol
Show bridle
Show head collar
New grooming kit
Massage pad

The list goes on

A massive vet work up to find out exactly where all her melanomas are located and then magical surgery to remove them.

Everything is materialistic, except life. I'm becoming increasingly worried that she's 16 and they look bad on the outside ... So they must be internally too. She's my best friend so of course I'd want to try and prolong her life providing it's safe to do so.

Although I would love electric up at our yard, and some new stables and menage. Again, all desperately needs doing.

I would have to go with the first suggestion of a thermatex rug. I to have dozens of rugs, but that is the one I couldn't live without.
For me it would be completing my horse ware Whitney brown stripe collection (for both me and horse) and a new pair leather riding boots.

If it was me it would be a pairs harness or a massage for all four ponies. Since you have tack, the good winter coat sounds great, then what about hiring transport for you and a friend to go for a beach ride?

I would buy a hot water shower room and solarium.
That would have to be one hell of a payrise though.

This has been my most useful, favourite thing I have ever brought, especially with a coloured horse, and you could easily do it for £500, my hot horse shower was £199, some heat lamps would defo be less than £300, then you just need the room to put them in!
