But if she hadnt done the tendon.....then i wouldnt have her and she is the most amazing horse i could ever wish for. We do everything that i want to do but im always checking that leg!

Oh and i would make her 10 yrs younger.

Oh and easy to catch :-D
 
India - I would love her to be even just 50% safer and more dependable. Just so I can ride out on the buckle or give her a few days off without fear for my life! :D

Kane stands still but he puts his ears back in every blummin photo!!!:rolleyes: Ends up looking like a grumpy old cob...only time he looks stunning is as I walk out of the feed room with his bucket..then he stands tall, ears foward and looks amazing!!:rolleyes:

Not much I'd change about him though, he's fun but safe.

Definately make him better for the vet so he doesn't have to be twitched just for his vaccinations! I would love it if they could understand us too so you could explain why you needed to put fly gel in his ears!

Other than that wouldn't change a thing, nothing wrong with a bit of character!
 
His age. If I could have just one wish, it would be to turn the clock back and spend another lifetime with him.
 
There's two I would bring back from 6 feet under
my old girl I would take 20 years off her age and my current one would have good feet so we could go out and enjoy ourselves
 
My current horse is great we do almost everything. There is only thing i would change. Wish we could hunt, he is so laid back and safe at everything XC, pleasure rides etc, but flips his lid on the hunting field so cant take him.
 
Mine isn't really a change but i wish i could flash forward for a glimpse in to my 2 year olds future and see if he's going to be a safe and sane horse to ride...oh and course to see if he a successful show jumper?!?

What i would change now would be his feed bucket kicking habit so he would eat the right amount of feed and i didn't feel like i was chucking money away with every bucket being knocked over!!!!

Have you tried putting it in a tyre? A pony on my yard does this and we solved the problem by putting the bucket in a tyre so it couldn't be kicked over.
 
neither of my two are perfect but I would like to morph them together as they are so different but would make the perfect horse for me :)

One is 15.2 fizzy but supple and loves schooling and lovely paces - nightmare to jump
Old boy is 16.2 but level headed honest and laid back but stiff and creaky now and hates schooling

Hi, Thanks but we have tried everything...humph

We've tried a door bucket and his knee knocks it off, just putting it on the floor and he still paws at it, we've put it in a tyre and some how i think he uses strength of the bear as he still manages to get the bucket out and across the floor!!! We've tried using a trug bucket and he uses the handle to tip it out....
We've put a corner manger up and he knocked it off with his butt!!!
The only thing we've managed so far is if he stands behind his door and i hold it for him...even then he manages to either snort in his feed so it flies over me or flicks it up with his nose...again over me!!!

So we now put him in an empty stable with no bedding and feed him in their...He boots the bucket and he then spends the next 10 mins hovering up the mess.

*sigh*
 
I would;

1) knock 10 years off of him
2) Sort out his tendons
3) Make him a bit more alert and responsive on the ground!

But to be honest he's 100x better than I could have ever imagined :)

I am so glad it isnt just me with this problem, my mare is a nightmare for this, nothing stops her doing it.

The worse thing is when she has finished she wipes it all over me! and usually in my hair and on my face. o and she is 2 as well, What breed is yours? x
 
We have 4 as a family, but I have my own lad who is 15 now.

I'd love to go back 10 years and undo all the things I would have done differently if I knew then what I know now.

You have to love them as they are.

I wonder what they would say if they were asked the same question!!!! :D:D

He's 26 months old and a Shire x TB...I'm hoping he'll grow out of it?!? :rolleyes:
I wouldn't mind as much if i wasn't making sure i give him the right balance of feed, vits and mins...making sure he gets everything a growing lad needs, just to see it being flung across the floor!!!
The feed specialist thinks he'll grow out of it and he's just getting too excited about his grub.
It's not that he's hungry as he's munching on grass all day and then adlib hay at night.

Gggrrrr...oh well, it's just something i'll have to get used to him doing but deffo something i would change about him!!;)
 
Grow my fabby pony 2 hands and half his age?!!! And have a chat with my horse and let him know that when going xc we will always come back to his friends at the end of the course, so I don't have to spend the first few gateways/changes in direction kicking on like a maniac! This is improving but would love it to improve just a little faster! (have had him for 6 years now...!!)
