If you couldn't compete, would you still ride?

I worry about you lot! what about your horses and your relationship with them, their welfare? If its just all about competitive urge then take up Olympic flower arranging or tiddlywinks or something, don't involve an animal. Lots of absorbing fun things don't involve competing anyway. Hunting! Or just the joy of ambling along into the dawn with your best pal for an hour before work.
