If you don't like the feed supplied on full livery...

I say it would depend on the yard and yo. I have experienced two yards which do full livery , only by helping out may I add.

The first yard has an array of horses on full livery with a decent income so to ask for a different feed would probably be acceptable and they probably include it in your bill unless it was something overly extortionate.

The second yard which done full livery was quieter with only a few full liveries and they ALL got the one feed which consisted of cheap as chips highly molassed chaff and cheap pony nuts which manly consisted of dust or crumbs. Any mention of changing feed and the answer was to buy it yourself , probably with nothing or very little off the bill.

So I suppose it depends entirely on the yard!
