Buy some ice grips.They fit on your shoe/boot and are worth their weightin gold.I got mine off Amazon but they are on Ebay and other places as well I guess.

Second that, been using mine ever since this snow turned to ice and they are brilliant. Be careful if walking on smooth flat surfaces indoors etc with them on.

i got some too! wanted them last year but they were out of stock everywhere. love them! just dont walk on bits of path people hve cleared of snow or u'll ruin the studs.
