If you Hunt can you pls read my other post....

I am currently in the 'I cant make a decision to save my life'
zone. I really rate him he is a fantastic horse but I feel I would be better off with someone older and smaller and he would be better with someone with more get up and go than I have.

My trainer is back on Monday and I will ask her opinion.

Aww, it's a difficult one.

I hope you end up making a decision you are happy with.

I down graded from a competition horse (well he would've been if his sanity had allowed it) to something that is just happy with a quiet life doing a bit of everything.

It was the best thing I've done. I had become seriously disheartened with horses after 20 years ..... and now I'm not

If I was looking for a 2nd horse, as I would have more time to get him hunting fit, and would possibly take him out for an hour or 2 and not really hunt until the end of the season. I wouldnt be put off by him not being hunting fit. however if I was looking for a hunting horse for this season I might be.

Why don't use advertise him as an allrounder? Mention in advert that has hunted in ireland in past.

I hope you come to a decision thats right for you.
