If you need a new clutch

Needed the clutch replacing in my Terrano 2 2.7 diesel, Main dealer wanted nearly £700.00, got it done for £313.00 in vat fitted with 2 year 20,000 warranty from Mr Clutch, warranty condition is they check it for free evey 500 miles for next 2000 miles, do you reckon the main dealer was taking the piss

I think you got a very good deal from Mr Clutch.A clutch specialist will have some buying power,and be able to use factored parts(perfectly acceptable)but the main dealer is stuck with having to use the manufacturers parts at possibly double the price.He could loose his dealership for fitting other parts.So, Hurrah for Mr Clutch!

Yes the checks are FREE, Mr Clutch are nationwide auto centers, doing serviceing exhausts gearboxs and some do MOT's and tyres as well.
