This ^^ ?? Ours are hardworking barefoot. During the winter they happen to not need trimming, however they do usually need a trim or two from our farrier during the drier weather.

Didn't vote as have one with front shoes on, and two unshod, all cared for by my excellent farrier. I prefer to keep shoes off when ever possible, but each horse is different.

Some are shod, some are unshod but trimmed by the farrier, who has undertaken a barefoot trimming course.

What's the difference between unshod and barefoot and trimmed by a farrier and done by a barefoot person? Not being funny, I really don't understand.
