I am in a dilemma about joint supplements and dont know what to feed for the best. My boy has one as a preventative on the vets recommendation, mainly because he is a well built horse (16.3 shire x) and he has windgalls all round that he had when I bought him, perhaps indicating he was worked hard in his earlier life. I used to use Suppleaze Gold, but stopped when I realised that the maintenance does only has low levels of the key ingredients. But I am still wondering if maybe I am wrong as a lot of people seem to have great success with it, and perhaps it is the combination of ingredients that works and the levels arent so crucial?
So if you do use SG, do you feed at the maintenance rate? If so, do you think it makes any difference to your horse?
Thanks
