If you were an equid, what would you be!!!

I instinctivley know that I would be a TB. A very english born and bred TB. I would be bright bay, about 15.2hh and with legs like twiglets :) :), plus a mare (obviously!!!). Im afraid I would have all the typically good and bad(!) thoroughbred traits :p

Can you tell i'm home alone tonight and bored? (and listening out for strange scary sounds in a typical throughbred fashion!!)

So c'mon what would you be? A sportshorse? A welsh cob :p
 
a friesian a nice tall long legged 16hh ,black sleek mare ,with long mane and tail with a half sensible mind
and beable to lift her legs high enough , especialy for a hunky horse of Cristiano Ronaldo

Moggy I hope you are not implying that cobs are average :D.... or that indeed you are average!! Because im sure that is not true :p

Ha ha OP - I'd be a TB too. Or maybe a spooky arab. I spook and jump at anything and if I'm alone in the house I'm terrified. When I'm walking in a crowd I also hate the feeling of lots of people behind me and want to run to the front!

I think I'd need lots of manners training if I was a horse. At the same time I'm quite affectionate to those I know and trust. But if I was a dobbin I'd be a ridiculous fizzy, spooky mare!
 
i would be a tbX welsh
about 14hh with twiggy legs, hormonal mare who can be very nervry and sillly, but has native in there to balance it out, and have some good old common sense- too clever for own good though:D. probably grey, with dark grey legs and mane and tail. l would need reassurance put hacking, and dislkie jumping!! i would be a fizzy, spoooky, nervy mare, who needs reassurance, but nothing dangerous, and behave when it matters!!
 
think I would be an andalusian, about 16.3, with the longest thickest grey mane... and a thick tail.. very trainable and doing grand prix dressage at 9, with much admiration and very well loved,, living obviously in spain, (as I love heat and sun), and I like to pose and dance !, really!!!

i'd be a spooky, over sensitive mare that took her time to settle with someone. but once settled and safe i'd be dependable and a bit boring. perhaps a section D x TB. bay. with a tail that needed a good comb, and a quirky face with a wonky white snip on my nose.
 
Something thats safe most of the time but if I didn't like someone or felt they didn't ride very well I'd just get them off. Would probably be a connemara, maybe even cross something :)
 
There seems to be quite a few of us sensitive and easily spooked mares on this forum :p

With correct handling we're all very safe underneath though :D
 
Oh dear I would be of mixed heritage around 14,3hh proberly bay with 1 sock, I would proberly rub out my tail and have lots of wild cat airs hanging from my ample belly.

My attitude to work would be ok but not a super star at anything special, but I would be loyal and trustworthy to take your granny out at weekends, and the daughter out hunting.

Yes I would have a solid attitude to life (as you can tell I did not think too long about this:rolleyes:)
 
Oh a grey cob through and through. I will take my mum to the pub as long as I get a drink or two or three as well. I will sunbathe on sunny days and enjoy plods round the country.

BUT

I will also have a wild side and enjoy a good gallop and going cross country. I will love flirting with all the boys in the show ring and win my classes, because I have a ample bottom and strong legs the judge will love me. And in the winter let me go hairy (who trims in the winter) so I can roll in the thick mud but I want a nice warm stable for bed time and eat to loads of apple likits because the even taste strangely nice even now :D But I will keep casting my shoes in the fence so I get a new set of shoes every 6 weeks on the dot, hey a girl needs shoes :D
 
I would be just like my current horse lol. Tall and and no too fine, but ditsy as they come. highly strung, short tempered but i love a good cuddle!!

Took the words right out of my mouth. Was having this conversation recently. Although I wouldn't want to be trading places with other far less pampered horses!!
 
I would be some sort of demented shetland x welsh, naughty, bit nippy but very dependable and always getting myself in and out of trouble, going under fences and causing havoc. I would also be very good at the local pony club, so all would be forgiven.
 
Short, stocky, crazy hair, opinionated and stubborn. I'd have to be a dartmoor or highland, stubborn as hell but willing to run when I want to....

I have always had an affinity for chestnut pony mares, now I begin to see why...
