If you were a horse, would you be in work?

Yup. Probably a fairly average RC horse, doing a bit of jumping and some stressage here and there but wouldn't do well at showing. Fairly easy going but not suitable for a novice as can be tricky to ride, but quite laid back in the stable. No vices, good to catch, clip, shoe, load, but must be sedated for the dentist.

It actually amazes me how similar I am to my horse!! Even down to the dentist thing! (though I bet she'd do an awful lot better at showing than I would!)

Yes but as a hack only due to an arthritic neck, loves stable and will stay in one place for hours as long as I have food. Might start kicking the door when I run out. Bit lazy so might need a lot of encouragement oh and I would have to be on stroppy mare due to 'hormonal issues':D

As a slight off topic, just how many of us are erm knackered??:D:D ain't this horse owning lark supposed to be good for you? Says she going ouch due to bad neck, dodgy knees and oh you get the picture!

I reckom I would be a horse that needed lots of joint supplements to keep me going and had periods of being out of work when my back and or hip was playing up! I have mild asthma so you'd have to soak my hay and I couldn't have haylage or I'd get fat. I am quite anxious at times so I'd probably weave a bit. And kick the door at tea time.

That said I have a rather beautiful and clever baby and an unproblematic pregnancy and birth so maybe I would be better as a broodmare lol!

Lardy cob suited to hacking and occasional hunting/fun rides. Dodgy lower limbs (possibly due to said lardiness). Occasional tantrum. Possible untapped endurance potential

Middle weight cob, 15hh. Currently sound. Has just come back into work and needs fittening up. No vices. Loves food, good doer. Not suitable for complete novice as can be tricky at times and forward.

i wouldnt buy me any way ! been on a break to have three foals, back person once a month, very stressy when shut in, box walking and weaving. Poor doer with vitamin deficiencies, not good in a group, do not trust people and very hormonal ! :D

If I were a horse then I would be presently working my way upto completion of the Golden Horseshoe endurance ride. The rougher the ground the better, hills, no problem. Maybe not as fast as some at the start, but I'll work my way through the field and nobody will overtake me!!

ive got issues. id be in work but ive always imagined id be a lovely willing horse. thibking about it i would be around 14.2, hairy native type, pops a small jump, loves to be stabled, good doer and overweight, prone to bad moods so needs firm handling on the ground as can nip. weaver (bad anxiety!) who needs a firm routine. good at showing and galloping and mounted games but can be lazy. i woulxnt want me!

Field/box rest or retired after a short, highly intense ridden career :(

I did write a list of equivalent things I currently have wrong.. I'm increasingly like a pts case!!

I'd be Lacey lol

so tempermental, hyperactive git basically. With serious temper tantrums.

But I wouldn't pass the vet due to an old tendon injury lol. Also I'd be clumsy like a TB and constantly on box rest for one thing or another.

Well I'd have to be in work. I'd lose the plot competing but I'd do anything you'd want at home. I'd pass a vet - probably. I would need a physio. And I'd need to be rugged as I'm always cold. I'd also probably prefer a very comfy stable. I seemingly can eat anything with no ill effects, so far. (just finished a big eclair!) I think I'd fair ok. I'd be med pony sized I think.
