Would you mind trying it at a differant venue?

situation - pony is being advertised as a jumping diva, but the jumping arena at livery yard is not bearing up particularly well in this weather. a short trailer ride away is a lovely big arena with full set of showjumps including fillers, gates etc.
Would you mind not trying the horse in its home environment?

I would still want to see it handled in its home environment (eg see it before at yard then follow up to other place to ride) but no i wouldn't mind seeing it ridden elsewhere would actually see it as a plus point in an odd way!

I have taken pony to a different place for those reasons, I think most folk understand and some even prefer it, as you get a bit of an idea how the horse/pony deals with travelling etc...

Thanks guys - its definately not a taboo thing then? obviously i would discuss the situation with the people trying the horse and see what their opinions would be too.

You've got a great opportunity to see it at 2 places, more than alot of buyers get. I think it's a plus.

Thanks guys, obviously the people would be welcome to come and see her at home, but to really test her out it would be ideal to take her to this place. TBH with this horse it makes no differance where you ride her - if there are jumps, she wants to get at them

i think it would be good, also gives you the bonus of seeing it travelled if you insist on meeting them at the yard and travelling with them!
