What would yous do?

I would buy a nice house that is near us now, needs some work done to it but has tonnes of land, often walk the dogs by and imagine living there, hmm

Would have large american style stables for my neddies, then build a block for liveries. Have a large indoor arena for me and then one for the liveries, horse walker etc.

Get a nice new horse lorry and a trailer that liveries can use. Would use OH to poo pick the fields and repair things lol

I'd buy a tank...the army type...then I'd drive round living my GTA dreams in the real world,

I could go to town on this one!!!!

I'd give lots to my favourite charities, and enough for my parents to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. Then I'd have a bit for me to buy a cottage in wonderful countryside, a massive field, and a nice Irish horse.

And a really nice arena, if the money would go that far!!

S.......after what we've talked about, is that REALLY a good idea? Do you not want a nice china set, or a peaceful trip to the lake district?

Well my team of stealth hedgehogs had...er... a bit of an incident with a van on the way to attack you which flattened their enthusiasm to a significant degree.
I did try counselling, but it made me ANGRY!
A tank would make me HAPPY....

Faint with suprise bcause I've never bought a ticket

And then...buy a house in the Peak District with about 10 acres, indoor and outdoor schools, american barn stabling and a nice 3.5 ton horsebox

Pay my bills without having to check my bank balance first!!!!

Sorry, farrier been today, so feeling very poor

I would probably buy my friends house, let my hubby retire, but find him a time consuming hobby (round the world yachting sounds good!
wink.gif
) and play with my 3 horses all day every day, oh and have 2 lessons a week on each of them!

if i won loads i would work with the born free foundation and shoot poachers who are making our wild animals be no more. if i won a million which wouldnt go far i would buy a house (not a big one) with land for horses and maybe update my car and lorry and possibly another dressage horse.

Forgot to say that i would open a centre to rescue horses. Or organise for all HHO members to come over with their neddies and have a horsey holiday!! Rides on the beach etc, ok lorry would be working overtime lol.

I'd buy my mum her canal boat plus a plot of land right by the canal (anywhere she wants) and build her a house buy her any car she wants and make sure she has a good life.
I'd then make sure all of my family were comfortable then I'd build the yard of my dreams (amazing stable yard, indoor school, outdoor school, jumping paddock with different sized banks), buy one of these, buy some show jumpers (and put some of the better ones with other riders) & fully staff my yard

I'm terribly sorry to hear that your missiles never made it to me.

Ohum, actually I'm not. I'm rather pleased.

*prays for so much white stuff that the tank is frozen and dissapears under a pile of snow so S is left with nothing but the flattened hedgehogs*

Merry Christmas!!!!!!

I would:

Buy my mum a cream convertible VW Beetle with cream leather interior and a private plate

Buy my OH a Range Rover Sport with private plate

Buy myself a black BMW Z4 *drools*

Buy a nice place, not too big with approx 20 acres

Get OH to build Ellie a 18 x 18 ft stable

Rescue an Irish Wolfhound

Subscribe (Platinum membership) to BMW F1 Fan Club

Go to Zangersheide and buy a foalie!

Buy a NH racehorse and put it in training with Alan King or Henrietta Knight

Um....pay off my rather large student debt....

So not much really! Tee hee!!!!

You have just won the LOTTERY! ... Nevermind the caravan- you can buy a massive house that comes with a livery yard and plenty more!

I'd buy myself a decent eventer and a showjumper. New sparkly tack for my horses. A huge house with heaps of land and a fab big american barn for liveries, and staff to keep it immaculate. A massive outdoor school, 2 indoors, full set of show jumps, xc course. A big gorgeous lorry. The new Landrover. A puppy. Buy my parents a new car, house and holiday home in Italy or something. Give some to charities and put the rest in the bank (if there's any left!)

I've not thought about this at all...
smile.gif

Would buy a big house with land stables indoor school etc, a nice big flash lorry, 2 more ponies, a nice event schoolmaster and a nice talented baby, an Audi R8 for me, give family and friends loads of dosh, put teh rest of cash in the bank and live off the interest
grin.gif

I did win
smile.gif
and I bought.....

Nice new house (although houses with decent land in my area where more than even we could afford).
My first horse kept on DIY at my old riding school.
The usual cars.
Am looking into box for this year but have a trailer at the moment.

I am also in the lucky position of not now having to go to work so can spend plenty of time with my new boy!!

So go on everyone - buy a ticket ........... it could be you!!! And you can never say again "I don't know anyone who has won so why bother!"!!
grin.gif

KatB - that's funny - I have actually lost more friends than I have gained over this so opportunities could be opening to the right applicant!!
grin.gif

Wow, Im sure it changed your life. Although im sure not always for the best.

I love the house near us, has lay empty for years now. Nice driveway up to the house and means i would have to pass my horsies out in the field on the way to the house.

I envy those who can look out in the morning and see their horse looking back at them
frown.gif

ChristmasCob - defo changed my life and you are right - not always for the best and in lots of ways that were not in my control.

Having said that I would not go back. My family now has financial security which we did not have before which is a huge weight off the shoulders for "ordinary working people" like us. I would never have been able to afford my own horse before!!
