If you won the lottery.

Really fed up with work at the moment so bought a Euromillions ticket last night. We lay in bed fantasising about what we would do with £44m. OH pointed out that where other girls might want fancy shoes & diamonds I wanted an HGV licence & a nice muck heap! This comes after watching The Apprentice when he suggeested that if I went to a Bridal Show I would be disappointed to realise it wasn't horsey headgear. I think he understands me!

Right now??
I would move house-telling neither my OH or my 4 year daughter where I was moving too!
Its 7.39am and they have already pi**ed me off big time and broken things in the house!

At least ponies don't answer back. When I had mine I aked the Health Visitor when you get tidy & organised again. Her answer - when they leave home! As the mother of an 18yo & a 15 yo I think she was right.

They act like idiots, do the most inappropriate things at the worst possible time, make you look a complete fool in public, get you out of bed in the middle of the night to rescue them, cost a fortune in a never ending stream of new 'stuff' that they simply MUST HAVE, and we love them dearly and could not live without them...kids or horses?

As for a lottery win...I'd buy land and my own yard, oh and a nice Anglo Arab

I'd buy the estate near I live.
Only rent out the houses to people I get on with.
Then spend the rest of my days in peace and quiet not having to deal with snotty, awkward or stupid people.

I'd finish the house, knock down the stables and build an american barn with all mod cons and an indoor school and buy up a few fields. So could then playwith horseys all day whatever the weather

I'd buy my parents their dream house with some land for Maiden, then buy myself my dream house and buy a few horses (starting with a nice proper Andalusian). Then I'd probably go shopping (horsey shops, of course!) oh and also buy a nice brand new Defender

I would have the roof mended so that I dont have to put buckets in the bedrooms everytime it rains!

I would pay someone to sort the garden out and then keep it tidy.

The rest....it would just be nice to know it was there when "stuff" happens.

With 44mill I would sort all my friends and family out so they had no financial worries. I would then buy my mother her own house so she is out of mine

I would buy a nice house (not too big) with a huge, fun garden for the boys to play in, and I would buy a nice, small Oakley lorry. I would buy myself 2 or 3 horses and would put P into foal to Arco. I would have twice weekly lessons with the instructors of my choice.

Seeing that I would prob still have about 35mill left I would set about starting up my training centre for talented riders with limited funds (have wanted to do this for years) - which would also be a BSJA centre, because my GOD we need one around here!

I want a big farm with lots of land, either in Wales or Slovenia(or possibly both!). I want to breed shetland ponies, and fell ponies, and haflingers..! I also would like to take in lots of rescue animals, all kinds of animals to give them a happy life! And lots of goats, I love goats!

Of course I would sort out my friends and family too!

I'd buy a nice house with loads of land and start my own stud. Get some nice D's/C's, my idea of heaven........

It's more what I WOULDN'T do!

Learn to drive, buy my own place with land & stables, get a really quality pony that is a Schoolmaster/mistress & kit it out in the best quality gear.

Have all my shoes made to measure for me. Sort family & friends out, especially as my best mate is struggling at the moment.

Then leave the rest in the bank & live off the interest.

Buy an island to escape to.
Start a training centre for young talented riders, which would be completely free.
Have a rescue centre and employ my friends to run it and pay them a good wage.

I think I'd do the same as everyone else, quit my job, buy land and lots of horses and spend my days going that. I quite like the idea of still working so maybe set up a lovely livery yard with wonderful facilities. I think I'd also quite fancy getting my AI or something and doing a bit of teaching. I'd pay my parents mortgage off for them and buy the house behind theirs and knock it down to get rid of their moron neighbour, sort my brother out with a house etc and pay for my friends to go on a really fantastic holiday!

Now if only my numbers had come up last night!!

Sadly all that money would not make my rising 27 year old boy with Cushings 10 again and fit and healthy .... all I ever wanted was to have him at home with me .... so if I won the 44 millions I would get my dream

I think I'd start by sending my boss a rude email....!

I'd buy a really nice lorry, not one of the huge fancy ones, but one that I can drive easily and fit 2 or 3 big horses in. I'd buy the Moose (even broken) to go in it, as well !!! I'd also have a TON of lessons.

Oh, and i would have two pairs of the most lush, beautiful made-to-measure long boots, because my little legs don't fit in normal boots. I would also get Ariat to custom-make me a pair of Grasmeres that would fit me round the calf, and be extra short in the leg, so they don't come up over my knee like some kind of bloody pantomime costume !

Then what? I don't know, actually. £44m is just SO MUCH money I think I'd need to have a very long holiday somewhere, just to think it all through. Oh, and I'd phone my current bank manager and tell him exactly what i think of him.
