Unfortunately my parents neightbour failed to see the funny side!!! It was the first time i had got him to hack out on his own, i was really pleased with him untill this point! Then after he had done it, he pranced back to the yard with the most smug and proud of himself expression i have ever seen!!! I was mortified!

Fany - Please don't do the "dead horse" impressions just as I pull up in the car, if you must at least raise head to let me know you are ok. Running is not easy for me at the moment, and you know I worry about you. Also if you are going to shout very loudly for your friends, not in my ear please!

Captain- I love you never again will you be neglected or starved, therefore it is unnecessary to attack/ drive off other horses who come near your food. Also I would never put you into any danger, therefore the rearing etc. is unnecessary on hacks.

That hacks really dont require snorting, spooking and jelly legs. If you looked where you were going you would fall over your own feet thus spooking yourself, again . It would make hacking easy and much more enjoyable for both of us

when I give her dinner in the field that she needs to actually eat it before the other horse in the field chases her off it.... not savour every mouthful, crib between mouthfulls, walk away and back (or not as in her case)
