Random question that came up the other day.

Mine would be one of those Mazda MX5s, little, fun and sporty looking and likes to go 'zoom zoom' everywhere!, but also pretty bloody useless for anything practical! Either that or he'd be a dirt bike, given the angles he managed to lean over at whilst racing flat out round a muddy field!

What would yours be??

Definitely a Hummer. A proper military one with a .50 cal on the top. Excellent cross-country performance, lousy fuel consumption and the ability to destroy targets effortlessly. Only difference is she doesn't have 'run-flats' little madam lost a shoe last night - think the phrase rhymes with mugger!!

Ron's a bit like an old land rover.... go anywhere, do anything. not flashy or fast, but reliable and virtually indestructible.

Tom's a bit more difficult. he's a bit like a ford focus in asbo orange i guess, loud and attention seeking, and with pretty good performance for his type.

white delivery van with 'wash me' written in the dirt on its side! It would have a few scrapes and dents too. But it would still run you off the road given half the chance!

Bob would be a toyota with a faulty accelerator pedal because soemtimes he just goes faster and faster and faster and i cant

My TB mare would be a Toyota Celica, noisy, fast, poorly made rubbish, but pleasing to the eye and expensive on fuel.

he would be a vw golf gti turbo, good looking, nice and comfy with all the buttons but can go like **** ofa shovel when he needs to!!

My cob would be a white, battered transit van. Old, battered, but still up for it. My daughters eventer would be a ferrari - sleek and utterly gorgeous.

My old mare (Connie x TB) would be a Mini Cooper S (original not BMW) as she is small and unassuming with a great turn of speed. Oh and is cute and pretty.

My 2yr old I'm not sure about as I have only had him since December. As he is German I suppose something German. It would have to be something that moves beautifully as does he!

Hattie would be a Defender. Can cover any ground and if she can't get over something will go through it!

Gypsy would be a mini. Short and compact but can go like stink if he wants to.

Inka would be a challenger II tank. She is a huge lump that will plough through anything but can be quick and agile.

Lancelot was more like the Charv2 (Challenger 2 armoured recovery vehicle). What he couldn,t get over,he just buldozed out the way.

hmmm now I think my Welsh D would be a Landrover Discovery. Her turning circle isn't great, she can be a bit sluggish in the low gears, and then can over rev a bit! But she's built like a tank, can get through anything, and gets thru a huge amount of fuel! (i.e. hay!) :)

Sleepy had got to be a red lotus esprit. Sleek, good looking, high maintenance, bumbles around all day until you give it a good poke and then hold on for dear life. Oh and pray a bit.

'cept bits don't fall off sleepy and it doesn't take a good 3 miles of ragging to get him to warm up ;)
