Trying to figure out if the ifor 505 style trailer does actually fit two 16.2's like it says?

I am looking to travel 2x16.1hh, but both are approx 6'6 rug size and chaser stamp tb's? Questioning whether they'll fit??

What size horses does everyone travel in theirs?

My horse is a big 16.2.- We didn't have him when we purchased the trailer. IF we were to buy one now I e getting a 510 definitely.
He's awkward to load and just stands on the ramp looking over the roof! Im not really happy to travel him in it due to the fact he makes a fuss. If he travelled perfectly then in theory he fits (We have taken him out in it) but id feel a lot happier If we had a bigger trailer.

I've got an older 505 and my 14.2 travels comfortably in it but I think it would be a tight fit for a 16.2. It's quite awkward to unload from the side without the ramp too so imagine a larger horse could find it difficult.

Well, I'm sure I shouldn't, but I've travelled a 17hh in mine! She prefers it alone, though has also travelled with a 15.2. She takes a 6'9/7' rug too! I'm planning to switch it as soon as I can, but she's not at all worried about travelling in it, seems to cope with the space and unloads easily enough from the side. It is an older model, though...

I used to have a older 505 with rear unload only and My 15'1 mare hated it! I thought she was just a bad loader until I bought a 510 and then she started going straight in. I think it was the gloominess and lack of space. She fitted in the 505 fine but obviously didn't like it. I'd hate to travel 2 16'2s in a 505 on a regular basis as it would be a squeeze. I'd buy something else if at all possible?

I have a 16.1hh TB described by many as 'a good old fashioned chasing type' but 6'3" rug size. He seems very happy in my 505 although there was a time when I thought I should have got the 510. I have to guide him out quite carefully as I'm always worried he will catch himself( he never has) on the half turn onto the ramp.

My 16.1 middleweight ISH travelled fine in my friend's 505, along with his horse, her sister, who was the same size. When we got our own we opted for the 510 (we had bought another 17h mw) but my mare actually seemed to prefer the 505! I reckon my 17h would travel in one at a push - he is 6'9 rug size, my 16.1 is 6'6.

The 510 does feel nicer - much lighter due to the windows and more spacious to move around in at the front. We had two diddy ponies for a while, and they couldn't reach the hay when it was tied up, so bear in mind if you'll travel any diddies!
