I have a 19yr Ifor 505 recently purchased but the plate is in German.

Some i know such as the frame:
Typ: KF 27. Ausf: A1

but underneath is the weights which i cant translate lol:

zul. Gesamtmasse des ctnachsigen Anhangers von: 1400kg bis 2700kg
zul. Fahrgeschwindigkeil uber 25km/h zul.Stutzlast 100kg

prufzeichen M 1570

Is the 1400kg the weight of the trailer unladen and the 2700kg the mass laden weight?
What is the reference to the 25km/h to 100kg?

1400 is too heavy for the unladen weight so its likely to be the braking weight range from 1400 to 2700 but not certain of that

The actual unladen weight is easy to get because its a trip to a weighbride empty

100 is likely to be the noseweight

The MAM for these is usually 2340 kgs which makes me think the other is the braking range

Many thanks for that, im using it for a 15.2 TB 450kg so i know he is ok size/weight wise in it but next to sort out is to get the right jeep to pull it.
Has to be under £2000 as on a sad budget.

Would an 'R' Cherokee 4l Automatic be ok to tow loaded with the one horse or would i be able to tow another horse (same weight) within the same limit?

Ive heard good/bad reviews on X-Trail, Santa fe, which i also have considered but checking out the towing weights people say No to the x-trail.
Any tips gratefully received.

Speed over 25 km / h permissible nose weight 100 kg

My mate who is great at translating German is having a little difficulty

ctnachsigen - is that spelt correctly ?

If possible, could you take a clear photo of the plate and post it ?

The 100 kg bit is the max weight on the jockey wheel

Hi
That plate is in regards to the hitch which is made by a german company called knott rather than the trailer.
The 1400 to 2700 is the weight range the damper will work at and the 100 is the maxmium nose weight.
The trailer should have its own plate.
Hope this helps
