Ifor Williams 511 advice please

I am thinking of buying a brand new ifor 511. I remember reading about some teething problems with them.....mould,faulty rear side flaps,dodgey handles,etc with the early 2007-08 models.Have they been sorted out now?Has anyone bought one recently and are you pleased with it or are there still problems .Any info much appreciated.

have you looked a Bateson ascot ? sadly the ifors used to be basic and a little agricultual but strong now they seem a little filmsy, you would hope and think they would have addresed these build quality isssues by now I know a couple of people who looked at them and decided to stick with their old 510s...

My friend has a 511 which she bought earlier this year, and it's lovely. I've towed it and travelled my horse in it, and have to say that it's much nicer than my 505. She's had no problems at all with hers, so I guess that they've sorted the teething problems now.

replaced newish 505 with 506 as mare 16.3 hh no problems with it eg mould etc but have bent left hand side rear top door on hedge suspect, but mares travel well n it.
