Hi All,

So i have my trailer, breast abd and 2 brackets...

How on earth do I make them all stick together!!!!

(trailer was a bargain half renovated one, I forgot I am no Charlie Dimmock DIY queen!!!)

If you have 2 short breast bars then they should easily fit onto the central partition. If you have a trailer without a central partition then you have two choices. Buy one full width breastbar or get a partition. Personally I use a full width breast bar when travelling one horse. it makes show days easier for tacking up & roomier for a horse stood on for a while. Personal choice.

Ive got a partition and a full width breast bar!

Just can't fathow how to attach the fittings to the trailer walls and which way round to clip the breast bar on?

Are you saying the brackets that the breast bars are not in place, if not I would get them done properly. When using the long breast bar I have the opening end next to the unloading ramp. You just slot in the curvy end on one side, drop the straight end into the slot on the other side & clip it in.

If you've got the partition in then you need 2 short breast bars, one either side.

If you have the full width breast bar then you have to take out the partition.

Why don't you have a look as some for sale ads for Ifors and you might be able to see from the photos the bit that you are not sure of.

Depends on the age of the Ifor, the older ones have the "H" shape partition, not the hinged type, and only have the full width breast bar.

Are there any shows etc near you this weekend? If so there's bound to be loads of Ifors there, could you pop down and ask a few people if you can have a look at their trailers to see how the bars fit?
