I'm interested in the Ifor Williams HB510 and just wanted to ask what people who have them thought of them and also a rough idea of what they paid for them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thankies..Hxx

I HAVE THE BLACK IFOR CLASSIC 510. I LOVE IT. PAID BRAND NEW £4000 INC VAT. EXTRAS: TACK PACK, BARS ON SLIDING WINDOWS AT FRONT AND GUARD IN BETWEEN PARTITIONS AT FRONT SO THEY DON'T BITE EACH OTHER

That's a really good figure, would need the guard for mine too, do you find towing it is ok, is it really stable, OH likes it, what do you tow yours with..... Sorry for all the questions.....

We bought a two year old 510 from a friend for £3000. We could have had a new one for £3500 (if you speak to a dealer they do the deal where they knock the VAT amount off, although obviously it still includes VAT).

We think its great, bought a tack pack and head guard for it. Sometimes I wished the ramp was on the near-side, because then the larger horse (travelling on the off-side), would have more room to get off, but we cope fine really cos our two are quite small, so its only noticeable if we take any friends' horses.

It tows very well, and we tow it with a Discovery TD5.

The ramp is my only problem really, would have preferred it on the nearside but never mind. I'm going from a rather old Bedford TK Lorry to a trailer, just think it is more worth while and cost saving, plus I only ever take two horses. Wanted the larger trailer even though I only have 16hh TB's and a Welsh D x TB.....
Glad you get on with your............

We've got one of the 510 Epona's and love it. Absolutely fantastic to tow, horses load and travel well in it, can't fault it to be honest.

I have one of the 510 classics in black, bought it brand new for £3400 plus i bought the tack pack. never bought the head guard as I really don't like them a friends horse managed to get his head around it while travelling and caused a lot of muscle damage to himself.

I love it for towing, completely stable. easy ramps, great teh fact the Ifor Williams finally realised it would be useful to be able to open the jockey door from inside. No problems with the direction of the front ramp as I rarely use it. Mine are all trained to reverse out of a trailer just in case.

This is my second 510 and I love them. have tried other such as the Bateson, the Rice and the Richardson and to be honest would never buy any of them instead of the Ifor 510
