We have an Ifor Williams 505, and are wanting to adapt it so it can carry a 2 wheel carriage. I have seen others with an addition between the front of the trailer and the jockey wheel. Does anyone know where I could get this done? I went into an Ifor Williams stockist in kent who told me they dont do it, and doesnt know who would!

Can you adapt the carriage so that it goes inside the trailer (I'm presuming a one horse carriage)? That's what friends of mine have done with their 505. Neddy on right, carriage on left.

Or put fittings onto the rear ramp so that after loading the horse, the carriage goes on-end and attaches to the ramp (only works for very light carriages - seen this done with racing sulkies.

Contact one of the driving societies/forums. They'll be able to advise you what's safest/legal/best.

ROG, yes just like that. But the Ifor stockests in our area said that Ifor Williams manufacurers wont put their name to it because they think it will weaken the trailer in some way.
