I have recently traded in my 2002 ifor williams 505 (which I have had from brand new) for a 2008 510 classic as my horse was too big for the small trailer. It was bought from a main ifor dealer. Unfortunately it did leak but after a few heated emails and calls the dealers did take it back to the work shop to reseal and assured me there was no damage to the floor or panels.
We have never had any issues with loading, even though the old box was pretty small. And he's been in many types and with different drivers. Today we took him out in the new trailer for the second time and he was anxious to get on, but on our return home, he was awful and after 20 minutes, you could see the fear on his face. Luckily we were at a yard where we had a trainer (very similar to Jason Webb) who was able to do some ground work with him and we got him in. He was banging and very unhappy.
When I got home I walked the side where the horse was, and there is a dip right down the centre (you can feel and see it under the mats). If you walked to the back of the stall, you can also feel it squeaking, almost like a lose floor board. Taking the mats out are a nightmare as the clips are under the chassis. So before I do this Has any one ever heard of aluminium floors rotting or being damaged? I am not impressed to say the least that this trailer has potentially led my horse to stop loading!!!!
TIA
