Do you have dog igloos in England? Does anyone have one? I am thinking about buying one for my giant livestock guardian dog but wanted to speak to someone who has one before I go out and spend that type of money on a kennel.

I have a dogloo (sounds like a loo for a dog but its an igloo) for the pups, its insulated so really warm...
Yes that's them! Oh thanks for that SM. Do they leak water when it rains? It's just the bottom of them where they attach together than concerns me. Otherwise they seem like great ideas.

Well Johns are outside and he swears the don't leak, but mine is inside so I couldn't say...
I have a couple for my outside dogs and they seem to work really well but our climate is MUCH milder than yours. They will leak water around the edges where the top and bottom are attached so make sure you place it in an area that has good drainage so water doesn't come up past the seam. I would also recommend the type where the door is slightly offset so there is more protection from the wind. They do make door flaps for them but I'm afraid my dogs wouldn't be able to figure the flaps out or would eat them so I dont have them.
Thank you WW. It was the potential to leak which was my concern. Shame they weren't moulded in one piece of plastic really. I'm going to go and have a look at them again tonight and will decide whether they warrant their price and whether I think they can do the job or not.
