My husband has today come home with an ijoy, second hand! I’m about 2 foot too tall for it but I swear it does flying changes! And I like its big walk!! How soon can I ditch it without upsetting him. 🙄

Any time I have been on a mechanical horse they feel so incredibly unrealistic!
You don't get the feedback from the horse that you are used to. It feels weird. But I have used one when rehabbing from injury and found it useful.
I bought a 2nd hand i-joy rider. It has to be up in bricks and wear a saddle or my legs are too long for it.

I tried one in John Lewis years ago. It did not go well and it frightened me. I didnt get on with an RS mechanical horse either and was therefore refused lessons on that yard. I already had countless imperfections when I started to ride and luckilly found an instructor who knew how to address them.
I do love a rocking horse but it was bought for my grand daughters and lives at my daughter's house.
