We have a 11 wek old jack russel puppy.
LastSaturday (23rd), he had his mouth open and walked round the house looking very uncomfortable. We called out the vet, who said that he was just teething, but had no painkillers to give him. On Sunday morning he was fine.
On Saturday (30th), he did the same again but got progressivley worse over the day. By the evening he couldnt walk properly and was very ill. We took him to the vets and they gave him antibiotics and a drip, and he stayed there over night. When we saw him Sunday morning he was fine and very perky. The vet said he was a lot better.
On Monday morning he went back for tests and we are supposed to get the results later. However...
Early this morning (5:30am), my mum had to take him to the vets again as he was very ill again. He is still there now.
The vets think that it was menigitus but obviously that wouldn't keep coming back. they now thing that he may have a brain or liver problem so we are all really, really worried.
Please can I have some vibes and HHO hugs
