Got a few things, so i'll put them all in the one post lol.
1) Poor Blacky has got mites
I noticed them today on her face, and they are mainly under her forelock and along her mane, but there are some all over her body
She has re-occurring sarcoptic mange so she is quite itchy a lot of the time and now she's got an itchy face to top it off.
She's been frontlined so we'll see if that gets rid of the things. Everyone on the yard was itching and staying clear of her, bless her she looked very upset!
2) Does anyone know how we can find someone to come and clip her? The only way to get rid of her sarcoptic mange fully is to clip it all off, feathers and all, and treat it but we can't find anyone to do it!
We can't do it ourselves and we want someone who knows what they're doing to do it anyway because she's kicked at the insides of her back legs and it's sore.
3) Kim is getting shoes on tomorrow!
Our farrier is so great, he's already been out last month at really short notice to do new ponies terrible feet, and now he's coming to show Kim for us.
So YO said i can go up tomorrow and take her on a hack for the first time
