I have been feeling really under the weather for a few days now. Why is it that you can feel really terrible, not go to work, leave the housework to fend for itself but can still muster the energy to muck out and see to the horses? I guess its a case of prioritising your energy. I know where my priorities lie, even when I feel like s***!!

I can feel truly ill at work so go home early. Then get to do my horse and miraculously feel better.

The wonder of horses!

Well it depedns if you get paid for days off sick or not
Othwerwise it might depend on you current wealth,

been like this for months and waiting to find out why from doctors next week - but I always do the horses and am luckily a homeworker so I can have a nap in the afternoon and then carry on computing later

when I was riding I could have a rotten day and the riding always made me feel great - even after leaving work early sick

one of the reasons why there are patting dogs as animals help people to feel better generally (unless it's endlessly barking dog, crowing cockerel or other noise nuisance)

I dont know. I got sent home from work as too ill to be there (had to be ordered home by my manager!!) at few weeks ago. I work right by my yard and I had to go there to give Domi his feed anyway so I went to the yard, felt magically better and had to force myself to go home to bed. I honestly felt much better at the yard. I felt dreadful in teh office though.

I think I would have a lot more sick days if I didnt have to get up to do the horse. by the time I have got up and driven to the yard, mucked out etc, Im up and ready and might as well go to work... I hate taking time off sick.
