I am looking for a hunt around my area but considering I live in a fairly built up area in merseyside there are non the only ones I can find are about an hours drive away in cheshire :(

try looking on www.mfha.co.uk for ones more local to you

My OH used to work in the Scottish Highlands, stable his horse in Dumfriess-shire, and hunt with several packs in Yorkshire.

Now that's a keen hunting man!! :)

That website has helped a lot thank you very much I have found one which is a 40min journey away so I will have to contact them :) thank you very much

Slap me if I'm pointing out the blindingly obvious, and you know this but you do realise that just because the Kennels are 40 mins away from you, that the meets will be in different parts of the hunt country each week and therefore sometimes more than, or less than 40 mins away?

We live bang in the middle of our country - the Kennels are 10 mins away - but sometimes have to drive for an hour to a meet.

Where abouts do live? I live in Bickerstaffe (up the M58) so I can pretty much please myself who I go out with, I do subscribe to The Holcombe and even though some of the moorland meets are an hour and a half away, most of the Chorley/Leyland ones are within 30 minutes of my house.
Further up towards Garstang/Blackpool is Vale of Lune, and over to the East of Blackburn/Bury and into Gisburn is Pendle Forest.
Cheshire/Cheshire Forest/NE Cheshire and Vale Royal Bloodhounds all start around Knutsford/Northwich way.

I have had a look at them ones mentioned but they are about a 2 hour drive away :(

Do like the rest of us do. Get up earlier!

That's what you do when your want to participate and enjoy country sports. You get your arse out of bed at the crack of sparrows fart in order to get your chores done in time to get off to the meet, venue, shoot in time for the start.

Welcome to my world. LOL
