As post says really I am a little over excited I am going to go and sit on my old horse tomorrow and I am way too excited for a woman of my age. He can only pootle but I dont care.

Its nearly 3 years since I sat on him and I shall have lovely dreams tonight.

To celebrate I have put him back in my avatar now the usurper is sold I have no regrets he was never ever going to replace Gully in my heart.

And here is my gorgeous boy in 2006

Aw lovely news - you'll have to take some more pics of him. Didn't know you'd sold you're other lad, are you going to look for something else or have a rest and a ponder for a while?

He's no longer in work because after two years of intermittent lameness with the vets undecided it was lets put him on boxrest, no lets inject in the joint, no lets put him on bute no lets try more boxrest. We had enough him and me so I retired him the vets said give him a year or two off so I gave him his life back to live in a field.

He's 16.1 CB cross I owned him from a 4 year old he's 19 now and was the love of my life.

I dont really know I am still in no mans land. Drifter was lovely but just not the horse for me and it all got too much to cope with when my Mum started to go downhill fast. I sold him in May and lost my Mum in July. I still havent told my Dad I sold my horse. He thinks I have them both.

I thought I would give myself a year off from horseowning. Although Gully is still in my heart I gave him to his loaner as she has kept him in the lap of luxury (18 acres ) for two years. So I suppose I am pondering and to be honest if someone came to the front door and said here the perfect horse for you and you can keep it just down the road I would say yes straight away but at the moment my heart and soul are quite tired!!
