Hello,

I'm a newbie from the North East, I've been lurking in the shadows for a bit and thought I'd join the community!

I do not have a horse and I'm not currently riding at the moment (oh dear!), due to studying/working commitments. And as you can guess by the user name I have a things for all things feathery, and chunky and cobby lol.

Hello everyone :)

Don't worry! I am treating myself to get back into the saddle in a months time once I have a huge exam out of the way... cue the silly questions when that happens!

Ah another feather fan :D

Hello and Welcome,

I am mainly a lurker whilst at work but do have my own horse and find the forum very helpful (and mad).

You might not get along with me, I have my hairy, feathered cob, trimmed and clipped to within a inch of his life - much smarter (and easier to keep clean) all trimmed and hogged! ;)

Hi, yes this is a very useful forum, there are a lot of people very experienced in horse care and riding on here...and the slanging matches are usually entertaining

Oh boo :P nowt better than a good bit of hair!

I've been lurking for a while, and I am surprised at some of the "discussions" that take place... they are entertaining.

Hello and welcome. we're not all mad here honest ;) :p :D There are lots of lovely people who give helpful advice :) Good luck with getting back in the saddle. We'll be expecting a full report with lots of pictures ;) :D :D

Hi,
Am a 'newbie' too - although apparently I have been on here for a while (must have registered in a senile moment). Have also been lurking but took the plunge a couple of days ago to reactivate account. Love feathers too :) in principle, not in practice and also chop 'em off!
