Off to local saddler who has good stock of 2nd hand saddles. Am looking for a MW albion, now what bettings for first time in history they won't have one except the brand new ones!!

hmmm might have a look at the kontacts when i'm in the saddlery then as that might well interest me...

Question has it been used much? reason I ask is Albion trees are reknown for stretching hence why i'm looking for a second hand not a new one. My current one is M but is the same width fitting as my two other MW saddles as confirmed by saddler....

Probably used 3 or 4 times a week, always used in preference to the dressge saddle.

Just had a look it's the Kontrol SJ not the Kontack.

It's very similar to what they call Kontrol Caramel but in dark havana.

I would say more of a medium seat than very deep.
 
I have an Albion K2 GP which I love!! I got it off ebay can't remember now if I paid £300 or £400 for it, anyway I went to pick it up as it wasn't that far away and I could have a good look at it. The woman selling it nearly cried when I handed over the money! She didn't have her horse any more but loved the saddle but her OH kept telling her it was no good having a saddle and no horse!!! But I understand why she was sad it's really comfortable and fits my horse a treat and she had taken great care of it!

My horse would be classed as a medium but the saddle is a MW, and has a fairly deep seat. I have had it checked by my saddler and it's in great condition, maybe I was just lucky but I did OK with ebay. I wanted a MW K2 in havana I tried for 6 months to get one via my saddler to no avail, when I got this one my saddler said they were like hens teeth!!
 
*cries* not only did they have no albions in anywhere near the right size but they also had nothing else!! apparently they had loads of MW and Ws last week but the only stuff left was either in desperate need of a total reflock so would have had to have added £100 on without thinking or was 18" which is just too long.

Thistle may well PM you but for that much I need to wait till bonus or lorry sells, which ever comes first LOL
